I'm chuffed to be part of the conversation on club photography, queer culture and rave culture that aired on Rinse France last night. Many thanks to Alexis Tenaud from Androgyne and Garde-Robe Records for inviting me and to Kaos for being my muse.
Kaos celebrated its XVIII anniversary with sets and performances from Rrose, Regenerative Being (Dahc Dermur VIII / Lupus), Johanna Constantine, Less Than Human, LAW 334, and Choronzon. Enjoy the set of my favourite photos from the night below.
The return of Pink Glove, which was also the first edition of the night held at Bethnal Green Working Men’s club, was my first post lockdown club night photography gig. It was a hoot. See for yourself…
My photograph of the London based artists Polanski and Chadd Curry had been included in the Quarantune 02 | Last Entry 3am book. I’m excited to announce that my night life and queer movement documentary photography has been catalogued and archived by Bishopsgate Institute. The collection will be soon updated with some more of my archival club photography dating back to 2013. Bishopsgate Institute will reopen from May 17th, by appointment only.

My photograph taken at Kaos, Electrowerkz in 2019 has been published on the Queer Extension project website. It promotes Intro to Club Cultural Studies: Queer Contexts, a course exploring aspects of queer club culture, facilitated by Justin Hunt.

The February edition of Kaos saw the return of Rrose, NWRMNTC, Polanski and Choronzon alongside a debut from L-Shape. The special guest, the art director and designer Tim Yip shot some footage for his ‘Love Infinity’ project featuring Lili and Dahc Dermur VIII.
I’ve been collaborating with Klub Verboten for a while, producing visual content for their website, newsletters, merchandise promos and fundraising campaign. I also now started my club photographer residency with them. It began with their first night organised at Islington Metal Work/Elektrowerkz.
We celebrated Kaos’ 16th birthday with sets from I Hate Models, Dahc Dermur VIII, Vercetti Technicolor and Choronzon. Many happy returns Kaos!
